Ecolabelling

In May 2006 the Danish Folketing adopted an amendment enabling a more permanent affiliation of Ecolabelling Denmark to Danish Standards.

In collaboration with the Danish Environmental Protection Agency we are now endeavouring to identify the opportunities offered by the new act, among other things, for an efficiency enhancement of the administration of ecolabels in 2007. 

Internally, we are investigating the possibilities of creating further synergy effects between the not-for-profit part of standardisation and our work concerning the ecolabels the Flower and the Swan.
