Standard Distribute – your standards online
How does an enterprise effectively control its standards and at the same time reap optimum benefit from internal knowledge sharing, without having to stand in line at the library or use a colleague's pc?
The answer is a licence agreement which together with the document control system - Standard Distribute - gives employees full electronic access to your standards.
A licence agreement will allow you to:
- access your own collection of standards online through the document control system, Standard Distribute
- "preview" all Danish standards and to view the first pages of any document before you decide on a purchase
- upload other documents to Standard Distribute if you want the system to include other information/documents
- receive information on new editions, amendments etc. of the standards included in your collection
- save a lot of resources on maintenance of your standards
have standards supplied through the system.
Do I need a licence to be able to share the standards with my colleagues?
Yes, you do and when you purchase a standard in electronic form, you automatically buy a single user licence. If you would like to share the file with others, you need a licence agreement.
What does it cost?
The price depends on the number of standards to be covered by your licence and on the number of simultaneous users. In addition, you are charged the single copy price of the standard(s) to be covered by your licence. The licence allows all employees to access the system and print an unlimited number of copies for internal use. A fixed amount is charged for the licence agreement and your access to the system; subsequent licence fees are based only on the number of standards to be accessed in full text, thereby reducing the fee for the second year and onwards.

Is access from more locations possible?
This is no problem! If your departments in Esbjerg, USA or China are to access the system, just add DKK 10,000 to the annual licence for 5 simultaneous users and DKK 15,000 for 10 simultaneous users. The fee is charged for each location/department to be covered by your licence.
