Sweden intends to classify the substances 2,5-dimethoxy-4-isopropylthiophenethylamine (2C-T-4) and bromo-benzodifuranyl-isopropylamine (Bromo-Dragonfly), which are hallucinogenic and which stimulate the central nervous system, as products harmful to health under the Act (1999:42) banning certain substances that are harmful to health.

When producing rubber toys and balloons, N-nitrosamines and N-nitrosatable substances can form and be released from the rubber accelerators used in the process.  Most N-nitrosamines are genotoxic and proved to be carcinogenic in animal experiments.  Children are a particularly vulnerable risk group.  Exposure must therefore be as minimal as possible according to the state of the art.
