Danish Standards participates in a worldwide information network, serving as the national
WTO Enquiry Point and being a member of
ISONET.
As the national WTO Enquiry Point, Danish Standards has undertaken, among other tasks, to assist foreign companies with their exports to Denmark, for instance by referring an exporter to the relevant authorities.
As part of the WTO agreement it is the duty of the member countries to give notice of national technical regulations which may create unnecessary technical barriers to trade.
