Sebnem Sener, Head / Private Finance for the SDGs, Sustainable Finance Hub, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) joins to set the global stage by underlining the urgency of the SDGs and why the time to act is now.
1.10 pm – 1.20 pm: Sustainability as a Business Case by Bureau Veritas and UNDP
Sara Lisa Orstavik, Private Finance and Impact Advisor, UNDP, explains what sustainability really means in this context, and how the ISO/UNDP guidelines can help companies align with and take action on the SDGs – turning SDG alignment into impact.
Jacob Færgemand, OG Market Leader Food and Public Affairs – S&W, Bureau Veritas, shares insights from working with Nordic companies, discussing how SDG work can be a real business case – and why Scandinavia is uniquely positioned to lead and push the sustainability agenda forward.

Danish Standards presents the ISO/UNDP 53002 guideline: its purpose, structure, and the three key areas of focus – the value chain (context), SDG impacts, and affected stakeholders. Learn how your company can get started and benefit from this practical tool.
1.40 pm – 2.00 pm: Case: PMC Hydraulics – Working with the Guidelines
Urban Fagrell, Chief QHSE Director and Roger Ekberg, HSE Specialist, from PMC Hydraulics, share their honest and practical experiences using ISO/UNDP 53002.
